, Aug. 21 -- Nahid Islam, convener of the National Citizen Party (NCP), will leave for Malaysia on a three-day visit on Friday (Aug 22) at the invitation of the NCP Diaspora Alliance, Malaysia Chapter.

During the visit, Nahid is scheduled to hold exchange meetings and attend dinners with expatriate Bangladeshis, representatives of social and political organizations, journalists, human rights activists and professionals, NCP sources said.

As part of the tour, he will attend a public event where he will interact with expatriate political leaders, participants of the July Uprising, students and the wider Bangladeshi diaspora in Malaysia.
