Naogaon, July 23 -- A quiet morning in Porsha upazila of Naogaon turned tragic when a middle-aged couple was found dead in their home on Wednesday.

Police suspect a heartbreaking case of murder-suicide, with the husband believed to have taken his wife's life before ending his own.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Hai Babu, 55, son of late Abdul Jabar, and his wife Momena Begum, 45, of Shitli Fakirpara village in the upazila.

Quoting locals, police said the couple had dinner together and went to bed with their two young daughters as usual on Tuesday night.
