, Sept. 2 -- A motorcyclist was killed in a collision among a CNG-run auto-rickshaw, a pickup van and a motorcycle on the ramp of Jasimuddin Road flyover in Uttara on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Md Fuad Hasan Hridoy, 25, son of Faizur Rahman of Naogaon Sadar upazila.

He used to work at Hossain Group, according to his family.

The three vehicles collided on the flyover ramp around 6:30 am, leaving the motorcyclist critically injured, said pedestrian Rajib, who witnessed the accident.

Some of pedestrians rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared him dead around 8:15am, he said.

Inspector Md Faruk, in-charge of DMCH police camp, said the body was kept at the hospital morgue.
