, Oct. 20 -- year-old motorcyclist, Nazrul Islam, was killed in a road accident on the Tamabil-Sylhet highway in Gowaighat upazila of Sylhet on Monday evening.

The incident occurred near Purbo Mohammadpur Shromikghat area, while Nazrul was traveling from Jaflong Mama Bazar toward Tamabil.

Nazrul, son of Shafiq Mia from Nayabosti area of Jaflong, collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction and sustained serious injuries.

He was rushed to Jaintiapur Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared him dead.
