Joypurhat, Nov. 5 -- year-old hotel employee was killed and two others were injured when a passenger bus collided head-on with a motorcycle on the Joypurhat-Hili road in Joypurhat Sadar upazila on Thursday morning.

Enraged by the fatal crash, a local mob vandalized the bus and set it on fire.

The deceased was identified as Ashik, 18, son of Emran Hossain from Hatigara village in Joypurhat Sadar upazila.

The injured are Nayeem, 22, son of Amjad Hossain, and Kawsar Hossain, 16, son of Jewel Hossain of Joypurhat municipality. They were admitted to the 400-bed Joypurhat General Hospital.
