Dhaka, May 13 -- Additional Inspector General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and Superintendent of Police of Dhaka district Shamima Parveen have been elected unopposed as president and general secretary, respectively, of the Bangladesh Police Service Association for the next one year.

The election was held on Wednesday afternoon at the Bangladesh Police Auditorium in Rajarbagh Police Lines on the fourth and final day of Police Week 2026.
