, Sept. 13 -- Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury on Sunday said misdeeds will not go unpunished even if committed outside the country, stressing that both "evil and good" forces exist at home and abroad.

He made the remarks while talking to reporters after a law-and-order committee meeting and an exchange of views with heads of government offices at the deputy commissioner's conference room in the morning.

Regarding the harassment of actress Azmeri Haque Badhan in Italy, the minister said the government has taken strong steps over the incident.
