Dhaka, Sept. 4 -- BNP leader Mirza Abbas on Friday visited his family graveyard in Shahjahanpur after offering Jummah prayers at a local mosque and offered Fateha at his parents' graves.

His personal assistant Mizanur Rahman Sohel said Abbas went to the family graveyard after offering the Juma prayers at a mosque in Shahjahanpur.

"He visited the graves of his parents and offered Fateha and a munajat, seeking the forgiveness of their souls and their eternal peace," Sohel said.

Mirza Abbas returned home from Malaysia last Wednesday after undergoing treatment there for five and a half months.
