Dhaka, Aug. 30 -- BNP Standing Committee Member and Prime Minister's Adviser Mirza Abbas will return home on September 2 following treatment in Singapore and Malaysia for a prolonged period.

Confirming the matter on Sunday, BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan said Mirza Abbas is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka at 9:00pm on September 2 on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight.

He said Mirza Abbas, after receiving treatment in Singapore and Malaysia for a long time as advised by a medical board, has recovered considerably by the grace of Allah, and is returning home from Malaysia.

Mirza Abbas was admitted to Prince Court Medical Centre in Malaysia on April 14 for physiotherapy.
