Dhaka, May 7 -- A Dhaka court on Thursday rejected a petition seeking its permission to file a case against 16 people including Chief Adviser of the interim government Prof Yunus and former Law Adviser Asif Nazrul in connection with military aircraft crash into Milestone School and College that claimed lives of 36 people including 28 students.

Judge of the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ariful Islam rejected the petition, said Advocate AKM Sharif Uddin, lawyer of the plaintiff.

Earlier in the day, Usaimong Marma, father of slain student Ukkya Saing Marma, filed the petition with the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate.
