Dhaka, Oct. 3 -- MG Bangladesh has launched the all-new MG S9 PHEV, positioning it as the country's largest seven-seater plug-in hybrid SUV, with more than 100 km of electric driving range and a total driving capability of over 1,000 km.

The announced was made at its office in Dhaka on Saturday.

The SUV is designed for families seeking a vehicle for both daily commuting and long-distance travel, combining a three-row cabin with electric driving capability and a petrol engine for longer journeys.

Powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, an electric motor and a 24.7 kWh battery, the MG S9 PHEV can travel more than 100 km on electric power alone, according to the company.
