Dhaka, May 21 -- Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has announced a special metro rail schedule for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha holidays, with services to remain suspended only on Eid day.

According to a schedule published on Thursday, metro rail services in the capital will operate under limited timings and fixed headways to ensure passenger convenience during the holiday period.

The government has declared a seven-day holiday for Eid-ul-Azha from May 25 to May 31 while Eid will be celebrated on May 28 (Thursday).

Under the special schedule, the first train from Uttara North Station will depart at 6:30am, while the first train from Motijheel Station will leave at 7:15am.
