Chuadanga, April 12 -- Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have detained a suspected smuggler along with four gold bars - weighing 452 grams - from the Darshana border area in Chuadanga district.

The arrest was made on Saturday evening in the Baradi border's Panch Kabar area, said BGB sources.

The detainee, identified as Samar Halder, 27, is a resident of Parkrishnapur village under Darshana Police Station.
