, July 18 -- Members of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested a man from Malibagh area in the capital in a case involving the fraudulent online sale of tickets for a concert by Pakistani singer Atif Aslam.

The arrestee were Md Bakhtiar Abid Khan, 21, administrator of the Facebook group "Bangladesh Concert & Event Connects (BCEC)," said a CID press release on Saturday.

After getting complaint, members of CID conducted a drive in Malibagh's Chowdhuripara area of Dhaka on Friday and arrested Bakhtiar with an iPhone set.

Event Sajai and Main Stage Inc are scheduled to organise Atif Aslam's concert on July 24 at the 300 Feet Cricketers Academy in Purbachal.
