Gazipur, May 14 -- A Gazipur court on Thursday sentenced a man to life imprisonment and two others to different terms jail for killing a man in 2005.

Judge of the Gazipur District and Sessions Judge Court-1, Amit Kumar Dey, handed down the punishment

The lifer is Abdus Sattar of Sripur upazila in Gazipur district. The court also fined him Tk 1 lakh, in default, to suffer five more years in jail.

The court also sentenced Ahad to four years imprisonment and fined him Tk 10,000, in default, to suffer one more year in jail.
