Faridpur, Feb. 2 -- Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Ameer Maulana Mamunul Haque on Monday called for mass resistance if any attempt is made to steal votes in the national election.

"The days of capturing polling centres and snatching ballot papers with goons are over. If anyone tries to change the people's verdict, strict resistance must be built against them," he said while addressing an election rally at Eidgaon Maidan in Bhanga upazila of Faridpur district.
