Putrajaya, June 22 -- Durian, often referred to as the 'king of fruits', and jackfruit specially flown in from Bangladesh were featured as desserts at a luncheon hosted by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in honour of Bangladeshi Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's official visit to Malaysia.

The luncheon took place at the Seri Perdana Complex on Monday.

Upon their arrival, the two leaders were warmly welcomed by students from several schools in Putrajaya, Dengkil, Kajang, and Sungai Merab, who greeted them with chants of "Welcome to Malaysia."

A cultural performance by dancers from Istana Budaya also marked the occasion.
