Malaysia labour market reopening: Govt vows to protect workers
Dhaka, Sept. 16 -- As Bangladesh looks towards reopening the Malaysian labour market, the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment is taking a firm stance to protect ordinary workers from brokers and fraudulent recruitment rings, Secretary Md Mokhtar Ahmed said.
The process of reopening the Malaysian labour market is currently underway. He urged everyone to remain vigilant so that no middlemen can exploit the situation for personal gain.
