Dhaka, May 20 -- ul-Azha will be held at 7:30am at the National Eidgah on the Supreme Court premises in the capital.

However, if weather conditions turn unfavourable, the main Eid congregation will instead be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 8:00am.

Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Mamun Al Morshed Chowdhury confirmed the matter on Wednesday, saying the decision was taken at an inter-ministerial meeting held recently at the ministry.

The Dhaka South City Corporation has been entrusted with the overall management of the main Eid congregation.
