Dhaka, Sept. 2 -- Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md Asaduzzaman on Wednesday said a draft law on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) will be placed before Parliament after necessary additions and deletions based on recommendations from experts.

"We are examining the issue of artificial intelligence and looking at how it can be matched with the Cyber Security Act. Expert recommendations are necessary in drafting the law. After incorporating or removing necessary provisions, the draft will be brought before Parliament in the form of a bill," he said.

The minister was speaking on the closing day of the five-day "Bangladesh AI Governance Summer School" on the Asiatic Society premises in the capital.
