Khulna, Aug. 12 -- Two unidentified miscreants allegedly attacked a teacher of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) in the Mujgunni Residential Area of Khulna city on Wednesday afternoon.

The victim, Prof Dr Md Rafiqul Islam of KUET's Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, filed a complaint with Khalishpur Police Station in this regard, said Sub-Inspector Biplab Sheikh.

He said the two attackers approached Prof Rafiqul on a motorcycle while he was walking towards the main road from his residence and struck him on the neck before fleeing.
