, Oct. 7 -- Police recovered the body of Bacchu Mia (60), an autorickshaw driver, from a bushy area in Sabuja Chhaya Residential Area, Keraniganj, Tuesday evening, a day after he went missing.

According to Keraniganj Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mominul Haque Dablu, Bacchu Mia left home Monday morning with his battery-powered rickshaw but did not return at night.

Local residents guided the police to the site, where the body was found. It had multiple injuries on the hands and legs.

The body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital morgue around 9 pm for autopsy.
