, April 9 -- Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary Westerly or North Westerly Kalboishakhi storm in five divisions including Dhaka in next 12 hours commencing 08:00 am on Thursday.

"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary Westerly or North Westerly Kalboishakhi storm with squalls speed 60-80 kph or more is likely to occur at places over Dhaka,Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions during the next 12 hours," said a Met office bulletin.

At this time there may be lightning and hails at isolated places along with Kalboishakhi storm, it said.
