Dhaka, Aug. 3 -- The July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum, established at Ganabhaban in the city, will be inaugurated on August 5, marking the 2nd anniversary of the 2024 mass uprising that led to the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government.

The Ministry of Cultural Affairs on Monday said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has given his consent to attend the inauguration ceremony scheduled for 9:00am.

The July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum was established to preserve the history of the July 2024 uprising and honour those killed during the movement.

The museum will be opened to the people, two years after the historic mass uprising.
