Dhaka, Aug. 8 -- The Journalists' Association of Jagannath University (JnUJA) formed a human chain on campus Friday, demanding justice for the brutal killing of journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin of Dainik Protidiner Kagoj, who was murdered in Gazipur on Thursday night.

The demonstration was held at the sculpture square of the university premises following Jumma prayers.

Imran Hossain, president of JnUJA, called for a fair investigation and exemplary punishment for those responsible. "We journalists expose social injustices through our work. But when our own safety is compromised, democracy and freedom of expression are endangered," he said.
