Dhaka, June 23 -- Leaders and activists of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) staged a protest march at Shahbagh on Monday evening against what they described as attempts by the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) to create unrest.

The procession, led by JCD Central Committee Vice-President Kazi Zia Uddin Basit, began in front of the National Museum and marched through the TSC area before returning to the museum premises.

During the march, participants chanted various slogans, including calls against the Awami League and its affiliated organisations.
