Sylhet, Aug. 21 -- e-Islami has strongly rejected the Anti-Corruption Commission's (ACC) report linking its leaders to alleged Sada Pathar looting in Sylhet, calling the report 'purposeful, fictional, and dictated.'

At a press conference jointly organised by the Sylhet district and metropolitan units of Jamaat on Thursday, Metropolitan Ameer Muhammad Fakhrul claimed the party found no truth in the ACC's allegations.

"This report is fabricated and politically motivated. No such ACC report has even been officially found," Fakhrul said.

He added if the ACC indeed publishes such a report without evidence, they must offer an apology.
