Dhaka, Sept. 13 -- party alliance, led by Jamaat-e-Islami, is set for its second long march from the capital towards Rangpur on September 19 to press home a seven-point demand, including the implementation of the "people's verdict in the February 12 referendum, trial of July 2024 mass killings, and resolution of the energy and fertilizer crisis.

In addition to an inaugural meeting at the capital's Manik Mia Avenue and a concluding rally at Rangpur Zilla School, the opposition party will hold five street-corner meetings across five districts on that day.
