Islamic University, Oct. 20 -- A student of the department of Communication and Multimedia Journalism at Islamic University in Kushtia died on campus Tuesdau after suffering a bout of respiratory difficulties.

The deceased student was identified as Tarikul Islam under 2020-21 academic session.

He was taken to the Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital after developing breathing problems in the afternoon. The on-duty doctor declared him dead on arrival.

Family and departmental sources said that Tarikul had been suffering from breathing difficulties for a long time.
