Dhaka, May 16 -- Popular young content creator and actress Kaarina Kaisar has passed away while undergoing treatment in Chennai, India, due to liver-related complications.

Her father, former Bangladesh national footballer Mohammad Kaisar Hamid, confirmed the news early Saturday through a social media post.

"I inform you with profound sorrow that my beloved daughter, Kaarina Kaisar, passed away a short while ago in Chennai while undergoing treatment," he wrote.

Seeking prayers for the departed soul, Kaisar Hamid requested everyone to forgive his daughter if she had unintentionally hurt anyone.

He also expressed gratitude to those who stood beside the family during this difficult time and prayed for her recovery.
