HSC candidate vocal against drugs allegedly killed by user in Sirajganj
Sirajganj, July 18 -- An HSC examinee died at a private hospital in Dhaka on Friday morning after he was allegedly attacked with sharp weapons after raising his voice against drug consumption in Sirajganj's Raiganj upazila.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahman, 20, son of Md Firoz, a sack trader at Dhangara Bazar under Raiganj Municipality. He was a student of Raiganj Business Management and Technical College.
His elder brother, Md Hasan, who was injured in the same attack, is now receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogura.
