Dhaka, May 14 -- Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher on Thursday directed officials of the National Housing Authority (NHA) to streamline flat purchase and ownership transfer services, to ensure hassle-free access to quality housing for ordinary citizens.

The minister gave the directives at a views-exchange meeting held at the NHA conference room at Segunbagicha.

"The National Housing Authority is directly linked to fulfilling the housing dreams of common people, it is an important service-oriented institution," Minister Taher said.
