Khulna, Aug. 5 -- Police recovered the hanging body of a teenage housewife from a residence in Khulna city on Wednesday morning and detained her husband and father-in-law for questioning.

The deceased was identified as Mita, 16.

The body was recovered around 9 am from a house near Gaffar Food intersection in Gilatala under Ward No. 6 of Khan Jahan Ali Police Station.

The detainees are Mita's husband, Majhar, and his father, Saiful Islam.

Khan Jahan Ali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Abul Bashar said police rushed to the scene after being informed by locals and found the young woman hanging from a bamboo beam inside the house.
