, Aug. 14 -- year-old woman was found dead at her house at Shamim Sarani in Shewrapara area of the capital early Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Syeda Tahmin Keya, wife of Sifat Ali of the area.

According to police, Keya was found unconscious at her home around 12:30 am and was later taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared her dead at about 3:30 am.

Syed Abdullah Al Mamun, Keya's father, said his daughter reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan due to a family dispute.
