, March 7 -- The government will provide support to expatriates amid visa expirations and flight cancellations, Expatriate Welfare Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury said on Saturday.

The government has launched a hotline so that expatriates facing such issues can contact the ministry and assistance will be provided according to the government's capacity, he added.

The minister made the remarks while speaking at a Holi festival programme organised by the For Manipuri Culture and Arts at Mirjagang, Sylhet city.
