Dhaka, July 12 -- The government has formed a seven-member high-level committee to recommend measures to enhance the effectiveness of mobile courts and remove the legal, policy and institutional barriers affecting their operations.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification to this effect on Sunday.

Adviser to the Ministry of Public Administration will chair the committee.

Its members include the State Minister for Public Administration, the Cabinet Secretary, and the Secretaries of the Ministry of Public Administration, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Finance Division and the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division.
