Dhaka, May 8 -- The government has formed a seven-member cell under the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) to speed up the implementation of programmes promised and expected by Members of Parliament (MPs).

The decision was announced on Friday through a notification issued by the PMO and will come into effect immediately.

According to the notification, the cell has been formed to ensure quick and effective implementation of the promised programmes, strengthen inter-ministerial coordination, and ensure transparency and accountability.
