, Oct. 10 -- Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said the government is determined to ensure that the upcoming February elections are free, fair, and neutral.

He made the remarks on Friday afternoon while attending the Kethin Chibardan festival at Bodhigyan Bhavana (Buddhist Vihara) on Bangabandhu Road in Ashulia, Savar, and speaking with journalists.

The Home Affairs Adviser also noted that law and order in the country has improved, a fact confirmed by a journalist from Dhaka.

Regarding the Safe Exit proposal, he said that people may have many opinions, but questions cannot be stopped.
