Freedom of speech not a licence for unrestricted remarks, says Zahid
Dhaka, July 29 -- Women and Children Affairs, and Social Welfare Minister Prof Dr AZM Zahid Hossain on Wednesday said freedom of speech does not give anyone unrestricted liberty to say whatever they want, warning that provocative remarks could create instability and help rehabilitate fascism.
He made the remarks while addressing a discussion marking the death anniversary of former Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal President Shafiul Bari Babu at the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) in the capital.
