Natore, July 23 -- At least six people, including five women, were killed and another was injured in a head-on collision between a microbus and a truck on Bonpara-Hatikumrul Highway in Baraigram upazila of Natore district on Wednesday morning.

The identities of the casualties are yet to be determined, said officer-in-charge of Baraigram Police Station Golam Sarwar.

He said the accident occurred around 10:30am when the Dhaka-bound microbus from Natore crashed into the truck in Sirampur Araimari Bridge area, leaving five dead on the spot and two others, including the microbus driver, injured.
