Chapainawabganj, Aug. 17 -- Five coaches of an oil tanker derailed in Amanura area of Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila on Sunday afternoon, disrupting train services on multiple routes.
Amanura Railway Station Master Hasibul Hasan confirmed the incident and said that train had been carrying furnace oil from Khulna to the Amanura power plant. "The train derailed while entering the station, causing disruption on both Chapainawabganj-Rahonpur and Rahonpur-Rajshahi routes. A commuter train is currently stranded at Amanura station," he added.
