Dhaka, April 30 -- shed ink manufacturing factory in Amulia Model Town area in Demra of the capital on Wednesday.

The fire was reported at around 11:38am, according to Fire Service and Civil Defence Control Room.

Two units from Demra Fire Station rushed to the spot and began firefighting operations at around 11:55am.

Later, two more units from Siddikbazar Fire Station joined the effort.

A total of eight firefighting units are currently working to bring the blaze under control.

No casualties were reported immediately.
