Narayanganj, March 3 -- year-old woman looking for work at Bandar, Narayanganj was reportedly held at gunpoint and raped, prompting the filing of a case under the Women and Children Opression Prevention Act.

The victim lodged the complaint on Tuesday morning at Bandar Police Station. With her and local residents' help, police apprehended the suspect, Rahmat Mia, 34, from Madanpur area of Bandar Police Station, on Monday night and took him into custody.
