, May 25 -- year-old man and his minor daughter were killed, while his wife was injured, when an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycle on the Bogura-Dhaka highway at Banani in Shahjahanpur upazila of Bogura district on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Anisur Rahman, son of Ershad Ali, and his four-year-old daughter Ayesha, of Sujanagar upazila in Pabna district.

The accident occurred around 7:35 am when an unidentified vehicle hit the motorcycle from behind, leaving Anisur and Ayesha dead on the spot and injuring Pushpa Akter, said Asif Iqbal, officer-in-charge of Shahjahanpur Police Station.

The injured woman was taken to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
