Dhaka, Oct. 20 -- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Monday urged the government to ensure that members of minority communities do not face any trouble or harassment in any way.

"We want to make it very clear to the government, especially to the law enforcement agencies - we don't want to see you putting our minority brothers and sisters in danger or causing them any trouble. I'm saying this very clearly today," he said.

Fakhrul made the call at a programme at the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office organised to welcome around 50 members of the Hindu community who joined the party.
