Dhaka, Aug. 10 -- Minister for Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Ariful Haque Chowdhury has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic deaths of seven Bangladeshi migrant workers in a devastating sofa factory fire in Saudi Arabia.

In a condolence message issued on Monday, the Minister described the "untimely and tragic" deaths of the workers-all residents of Naogaon's Atrai upazila-as "heartbreaking." He highlighted their "immense contribution" to the national economy and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family members.
