Ex-Joint Secretary Jaglul Pasha on 7-day remand in Khaleda obstruction case
Dhaka, Aug. 6 -- A Dhaka court on Thursday placed former Joint Secretary Syed Jaglul Pasha on a seven-day remand in a case over the alleged obstruction of then BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia's movement by placing sand-laden trucks in front of her Gulshan residence in December 2013.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Didarul Alam passed the order following a remand petition filed by police.

Detective Branch Inspector of Gulshan Zonal team Anwar Hossain, also the investigating officer of the case, produced him before the court with a 10-day remand prayer.
