Dhaka, Aug. 6 -- A Dhaka court on Thursday placed former Joint Secretary Syed Jaglul Pasha on a seven-day remand in a case over the alleged obstruction of then BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia's movement by placing sand-laden trucks in front of her Gulshan residence in December 2013.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Didarul Alam passed the order following a remand petition filed by police.
