, March 7 -- The European Union (EU) congratulated the interim government of Nepal and the electoral and security authorities for the peaceful and orderly manner in which they took place, said the EU Spokesperson in a statement on Friday.

The EU said it looks forward to further deepening our longstanding partnership with Nepal and to advancing our shared priorities.
