Dhaka, Aug. 18 -- The Election Commission (EC) will hold hearings on the re-demarcation of parliamentary constituencies from August 24 to 27 to dispose of objections and recommendations ahead of the 13th parliamentary election planned to be held in February 2026.
During the four-day hearing, the Commission will settle some 1760 objections and recommendations over re-demarcation of the parliamentary constituencies.
The commission, headed by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin, will hear objections and recommendations over 83 constituencies at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital.
