DU starts action against teachers allegedly involved in bid to bring back Hasina
Dhaka, Aug. 5 -- The Dhaka University (DU) authorities have initiated the process of legal and administrative actions against teachers allegedly involved in efforts to bring fugitive convict Sheikh Hasina back to Bangladesh and revive the activities of a banned political party Awami League.
"Legal and administrative action will be taken against those involved in these activities in accordance with the university's existing rules and regulations and the existing laws of the country. The process of taking action has already begun," said the DU authority in a press release on Wednesday.
